No Pickups or Deliveries in Areas of Florida and Georgia
Due to flooding and electrical outages from Hurricane Irma, service continues to be suspended in a few areas of Florida and Georgia on Thursday, where there will be no pickups or deliveries. Contingency plans are in place to help ensure that shipments arrive at their final destinations as quickly as conditions permit.

Operations Resumed in Texas
Pickup and delivery operations have resumed in South Carolina and Texas following the flooding caused by the recent hurricanes. Our team has implemented contingency plans to help ensure that packages arrive at their final destinations as quickly as possible, however, some packages may be delayed.

Continue to visit the UPS website here for the latest information on service delays, including ZIP codes where no pickups or deliveries are being made.

Florida and surrounding states are in the process of cleaning up the tremendous damage from Hurricane Irma including widespread destruction and flooding. The storm is now a post-tropical cyclone and is currently moving up into the Ohio Valley with moderate to locally heavy rainfall.

We have lifted the ban on picking up any Florida-bound freight. However, a few Florida terminals remain closed due to power outages. Other terminals in Florida and surrounding states are now open, but service is limited due to flooding, widespread power outages and closed customer locations. (Please see the list below.)

While our San Juan, PR, terminal is operational, much of the island is still without power, so service between Puerto Rico and the U.S. mainland will be suspended until further notice.

In Southeastern Texas, both our Houston and Corpus Christi, TX, terminals are up and running. However, both of these terminals continue to operate on a limited basis since there are still large sections of these cities that are inaccessible due to flood damage.

Terminals that are closed due to weather:

  • Ft. Myers, FL
  • Miami, FL
  • West Palm Beach, FL

Terminals open with limited service due to weather and experiencing some delays:

  • Jacksonville, FL
  • Orlando, FL
  • Tampa, FL
  • Albany, GA
  • Athens, GA
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Augusta, GA
  • Fulton, GA
  • Marietta, GA
  • Savannah, GA
  • San Juan, PR
  • Charleston, SC
