Unishippers has invested many years and untold dollars into fine-tuning a training process that will equip all new owners with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful — known internally as The Unishippers Way.
All new owners spend a week in an intensive, hands-on course at the Corporate Training Center in Salt Lake City especially for owners. This will be followed by a second week of Basic Sales Training. But the training really begins with an online tutorial designed to get you acquainted with the terminology and logistics. This self-study guide will ensure that you arrive for your week-long training seminar prepared to absorb the procedures and engage in all of the Unishippers tools and processes.
After you are thoroughly immersed in The Unishippers Way, you will spend a week with an experienced franchise owner, watching him in action and asking questions along the way. This is your opportunity to practice some of your newly developed skills, and see how the processes result in success in a real life Unishippers situation.
Once you return to your home base, we’ll take the training to you. Your own personal Unishippers consultant will spend a few days with you in your new franchise territory. Your consultant will help you get all of your systems in order, will accompany you on sales calls, and will help identify opportunities and obstacles. After the visit, you will be assigned to a corporate support specialist with whom you will have weekly calls. Of course, the coach is also available to answer any questions or help with any problems between scheduled conference calls. And, you’ll have an experienced franchise mentor assigned to you as well. This person will serve as an additional source of help, and will provide ongoing support and advice during your first year.
A separate sales training seminar is also provided to all owners and their sales representatives. This course explores every facet of the sales process, and helps you perfect the skills you need to effectively sell Unishippers. Whether you are an experienced sales person or a sales novice, you will benefit from the specific methods and tools Unishippers has developed to engage prospects and customers and create a win-win situation.
