Summary of 2012 Changes
After careful evaluation of customers' needs and the rising costs that affect all businesses, UPS has set 2012 rates.

Effective January 2, 2012, UPS Daily and Retail rates will change.

Daily, Retail and Fuel Rates
UPS's published small package Daily and Retail rates will change as follows. As a reminder, your agreed upon incentive discounts are a percentage off these annual published rates and remain the same.

• UPS Ground rates will increase an average of 4.9 percent through a combination of a 5.9 percent rate increase and a 1 percent reduction in the UPS Ground services fuel surcharge as published on UPS.com.
• UPS Air and International rates will increase an average of 4.9 percent through a combination of a 6.9 percent rate increase and a 2 percent reduction in the Air and International Fuel Surcharge Index as published on UPS.com.
