UPS does not have the ability to give our customers a price quote, since that pricing information is contained on Unishippers servers. As a result it is necessary to get price quotes from Unishippers instead of the normal "UPS Rates & Service Selection" tools. That is why we have created the "Unishippers PriceLink API" tool to give our customers an accurate price quote for their shipments.

This XML API can be used by developers to request a price quote for a shipment and display the results as a part of their website.

Preparing a UPS Shipping Label
Some Website Developers want to automate the process of creating a shipping label as well.

UPS has tools for their customers to use in developing web applications that can print UPS shipping labels. This set of functionality is called the "UPS ShipTools XML", and is built so that they can create labels on their website. (This is the tool that Express Manager uses to prepare UPS labels.)
